CONVERSION - from one WA vendor to another using conversion tools. The upside with this approach is a faster project, however, one of the downsides is that you may not take full advantage of newer better features in the new product.
MIGRATION - from one WA solution to another using a combination of manual effort and conversion tools enabling the customer to take advantage of all functionality in the new WA solution.

Commencing their careers when it was known as job/batch scheduling Mike and Keith are industry veterans that have worked with/for the industry leaders in Workload Automation. Keith worked for New Dimension the originators of Control-M who were later acquired by BMC. Mike worked for Boole and Babbage the European Distributor for New Dimension who were also acquired by BMC (where their paths crossed). Both have extensive experience and have provided consulting services on large implementation, migration and conversion projects for BMC, Broadcom and IBM.
